Coronavirus Planning

We are very glad to announce we are now accepting in-person appointments at all of our branches. Our Maybee branch will temporarily hold business hours Monday - Friday. To make an appointment, you can reach out to our Contact Center at 734-242-3222 or toll-free at 800-541-2222. Initially, we are asking members limit requests for an in-person appointment to urgent matters so we can help those members who have immediate need for assistance. For the health and safety of our team members and their families, we will require all members to wear a mask while attending their in-person appointment. We will continue to do our part to limit exposure wherever possible to ensure we are here for you throughout the duration of this pandemic. If you’d like to learn more about how you can access your accounts 24/7 through our electronic and mobile channels, you can learn more here.

If you have experienced any financial hardship as a result of the Coronavirus, please call 800-541-2222 to speak with an MCCCU representative. We have member service professionals and Certified Financial Counselors on staff who are here to help.

Tax Deadline Extended:

The IRS and State of Michigan have both extended their tax filing deadlines to July 15, 2020

Please be aware the IRS has released guidance regarding stimulus checks made out to deceased individuals who passed away before the receipt of payment. Their official guidance is that any checks or deposits made out to the deceased individual must be returned. You can learn more about the process of repayment by visiting their website and referencing Q10 and Q41.

At this time, the credit union does not offer Small Business Administration (SBA) loans.

Our Contact Center is available by calling 800-541-2222:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 am through 6:00 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am through 1:00 p

Should you have any questions or concerns related to our actions during these turbulent times, please contact our call center at 800-541-2222.

Thank you for your continued membership.

Stay Safe,

Michelle Micallef
